Last spring I bought a bundle of tulips at the local home store and started playing around.

I was shooting for HDR and the top shot is the result.

The bottom shot is the original color of the tulip.

Kudzu - Not All Bad - Macro Flowers Saturday

Alabama side of the Chattahoochee River in Phenix City.

Kudzu has taken over the south. Orginally imported and used to control soil erosion, Kudzu now grows out of control in many places. Also called "foot-a-night vine", "mile-a-minute vine", and "the vine that ate the South". Kudzu is a member of the pea family. The flowers smell like grape juice. Yummy : )
