I don't know much about orchids, but I though this was really pretty. 

I like the striations in the petals and the soft pink color.

Note: My identification may not be correct. The color is more pink/purple than blue, but that could be due

Hibiscus - Hollyhocks?

These blooms are huge and I wonder if they are hibiscus or hollyhocks;

both members of the mallow family of Malvaceae.

Whatever their name, they are gorgeous just the same.
