The Flower Pot

I love to take photographs of flowers and I have a photographic library full of them. As much as I love flowers, especially wildflowers, I am notoriously bad at growing them. I plan to post shots of cultivars and wildflowers in a wide range of colors and from a wide range of places.

This is absolutely superb! The stairs, the colors and of course, the bougainvillea.

We had some gorgeous bougainvillea at our Ocala house. But it always died in the winter with the second freeze (if we had one)...and it was right next to our pool which had a vinyl liner. So, we had to trim the bushes back. It was a terrible chore and we had to be especially careful not to get the thorns in the pool. Ugh! Finally, we pulled it all out and put in other plant.

But, in South Florida, the stuff grows like a weed and it never gets cold to do any damage.

wow this is just superb - and just look at the colours of those banisters on the stairs aswell as the blooms.
